The tomb of Queen Meresankh III is one of six opened (Source: Scotsman).
“Six new tombs beside the Great pyramid of Giza in Cairo were opened to the public for the first time yesterday, in an effort to attract more visitors to Egypt’s most famous archaeological site.
The most impressive of the tombs now open is that of Queen Meresankh.
Five other tombs have been opened on the other side of the Great Pyramid in the western cemetery, containing the tombs of high priests such as Kaemankh, the royal treasurer” – via Scotsman.
