EVENT: Students on an ancient Egyptian course appeal for new classmates – WANSTEAD, LONDON

The Egyptology class has been held in Wanstead House, The Green, for the last eight years and is run by the Workers’ Educational Association, which requires 12 members to hold a class.

‘Egyptology: The Formative Years’ begins on Monday 14 January at 1.30pm and will examine the period that shaped ancient Egyptian culture, from prehistory to predynastic, culminating with the first Pharaohs before the Old Kingdom.

The 10-week programme is priced at £75 and requires no prior experience.

Classes will be held on a Monday afternoon between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
