“Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is in talks for ‘Gods of Egypt’.

The ‘Game of Thrones’ star – who plays handsome warrior Jaime Lannister on the HBO show – looks likely to join yet another cult epic fantasy world after entering negotiations for the lead role of Horus, the god of the sky, in Alex Proyas’ latest project.

The film borrows from ancient Egyptian mythology and sees Horus team up with Hathor, the goddess of love, and a human thief on a magical quest to avenge the death of his father, Osiris” – via Virgin Media.
